About The Team:

The Product Engineering Team at Noah Medical is dedicated to the ownership of hardware and software releases, exploring design optimizations, end-of-life management, packaging and labeling, and complaint investigation for the Galaxy robotic bronchoscope platform. Additionally, we actively represent engineering to support Galaxy's approval in new markets, ensuring compliance with diverse regulatory requirements. Our commitment extends to reducing costs through explorations of design optimization, improvements in manufacturing techniques, and strategic collaboration with suppliers. A Day In The Life Of Our Director, Product Engineering I&A

  • Manage and provide technical leadership to the Galaxy Product Engineering (I&A) Instruments and Accessories team.
  • Manage and mentor engineering SMEs/leaders within the technical teams and cross-functionally to reach their full potential.
  • Represent engineering teams to manage parts EoL activities in order to ensure minimal disruptions to production lines.
  • Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering Team in order to support I&A complaint investigations, along with help drive recommendations.
  • Manage a team of engineers to drive the product cost lower by redesigning the existing product and qualifying new vendors
  • Act as the interface between the R&D and Operation teams
  • Develop and continuously update the roadmap of Product Engineering related initiatives

About You

  • B.S. or higher in engineering degree or related engineering discipline.
  • At least 7 years experience in people management.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience working in complex hardware environments with a minimum of 7 years in the medical device industry.
  • Strong people management skills, proven success in recruiting, creating, and motivating a strong performing engineering team.
  • Knowledge and experience with FDA Quality System regulations including those related to the development of Medical Devices, i.e. IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485.
  • Experience with complaint investigation process and management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
