- Extensive knowledge in the design of Security Systems primarily and IT Infrastructure secondarily including but not limited to: detailed knowledge of electronic access control and surveillance systems (EACS) including various systems by manufacturer products, features, costs, and comparative performance
- EACS requirements, systems design, and design needs and coordination with other design/construction trades
- Code requirements and compliance structured cabling (fiber/copper, outside plant), technology room design, mission critical facility design, access control and surveillance systems, visitor management systems, etc.
- Intimate knowledge of Security and IT requirements including but not limited to: structural support requirements; cabling pathways; power and grounding, building standards, code compliance, etc.
- General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies, network hardware, infrastructure and system architecture.
- Serve as client advocate for technology aspects of the project(s) driving and coordinating with the client’s stakeholders and the architects, engineers, general contractors, and technology installation vendors...
