Senior Backend Engineer

The Ledger and Orchestration team plays a critical role in shaping the way we run our core banking platform and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talentedSenior Backend Engineer to work in our Ledger and Orchestration team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Senior Backend Engineer:

• Designing, building and operating services in a cloud-native, service-oriented environment, which will be used by multi-platform applications and hundreds of thousands of users
• Enjoying a great level of end-to-end autonomy, owning system design, implementation approach and production operations of your services. We truly believe in the “Builders mindset”
• Working closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to shape product strategy, its roadmap and backlog. Your work will directly impact the business in tangible and visible ways
• Contributing to engineering strategy, roadmap and the overall way how we build and run things, with your experience, skills and knowledge

You’ll report to our Engineering Manager

Here’s what we’d love from our new Senior Backend Engineer:

• You are a good communicator and are able to use English effectively at work
• You are able to detect problems and find, create solutions
• You have strong sense of ownership
• You can champion engineering innovation and best practices
• You enjoy sharing your experience with other engineers and helping others to succeed

And if you can also do this stuff, even better:

• You have experience building distributed services and APIs, and you know what that means to run those in a heavy-load production
• You have experience working in Core Banking platform domain
• You can efficiently work in autonomous way
• You have experience in mentoring mid, junior engineers

Monthly salary starting from €4933 - €6166 (gross) depending on the level of experience.
