Since 2014, Acast has been creating the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, building the technology which connects podcast creators, advertisers and listeners.

Its marketplace spans more than 100,000 podcasts, 2,300 advertisers and 400 million monthly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen - across any podcasting app or other listening platform.

The company operates worldwide and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Acast is listed on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market (ACAST.ST)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Associate Accounts Payable to join our team in Stockholm. This role will involve handling accounts payable to our podcasters. Our team is closely knit, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. We prioritize teamwork and mutual support, playing a crucial role in supporting our podcasters and enabling them to focus on their core activities. Additionally, we handle traditional vendor invoice processing.

What you´ll do

The role requires comprehensive management of vendor invoices from start to finish, encompassing coding, submission for approval, booking, preparation of payment files, and monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payable balances. Additionally, you will calculate monthly podcaster revenue and ensure timely processing and payment of self-bills and statements documents.

You will also support podcasters by addressing inquiries, conducting investigations, and implementing necessary adjustments. This responsibility entails close collaboration with Content, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver effective support.

Who you are

A few years into your career, you possess a desire to understand the broader Accounts Payable (AP) workflow and its impact on our systems, while being capable of managing high transaction volumes. You have a service-oriented approach towards vendors and podcasters, and you are driven, curious, and adaptable to changes as the company grows. Detail-oriented and thorough, you ensure accurate and timely monthly financials.

“As always - working with finance - a sense for details and thoroughness is expected. Finalizing the monthly numbers correctly and timely is a group delivery - and we all are equally important in the process.”

Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.

Culture is our number one priority as a business. We believe people come first, and we work every day to enable autonomy, continuous improvement and bring out the best in people. We’re global and have remote teams, so it’s even more important that we strive for an open, inclusive and caring environment where everyone feels visible and welcome. We consider ourselves a modern organization driven by strong values to create the best, most fulfilling and nurturing culture.

We very much look forward to finding the next great person to join our cause!
