We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Proposal Writer who specializes in crafting detailed, persuasive, and compliant proposals for federal government contracts, particularly Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in navigating the complexities of government RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation types, translating information technology solutions and business objectives into compelling bid submissions.

This is a 100% remote position that can be performed on a part-time, full-time, or 1099 basis, depending on the candidate.

Responsibilities:

Learn and adhere to Zigabyte’s corporate proposal-writing standards, style guides, and processes.

Write quality proposal sections (technical approach, management, staffing, compliance matrices, compliant cover letters, tables of contents, past performance write-ups, resumes, etc.) ensuring compliance with government requirements.

Interview Information Technology subject matter experts and craft proposal responses that detail approach and solutions.

Work with teammates as both a Prime and a Sub.
