We are ITRS Uptrends: a SaaS based monitoring platform that provides our customers insight into the uptime and load times of their websites and servers. As part of the ITRS Group, we have customers all over the world, and have become one of the leading companies in our industry. And we are proud of that!

ITRS Uptrends’ headquarters are in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands. We also have offices in London, Manila and NYC. The Uptrends team consists of about 40 people, while ITRS Group employs a total of 370 people.

Scope of Role

As the Interim Growth Product Design Lead, you will optimize Uptrends’ user experience and product engagement by playing an important role in our Product-Led Growth (PLG) team. For success in this role, it is crucial to combine the love of the design craft with empathy for the thousands of people who use Uptrends daily.

As an Interim Growth Product Design Lead, you will:

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, CS, and Marketing teams to set clear goals and priorities for UX improvements.
• Lead by example, combining excellent leadership with hands-on engagement.
• Identify, recommend, and orchestrate product experience improvements to align with company growth goals.
• Use data to understand drop-offs and bottlenecks, prioritizing incremental improvements for a seamless user experience.
• Define experiments and initiate iteration strategies, from A/B tests to Just Do It tests.
• Participate in product prioritization, advocating for user-centered design principles.
• Develop UX vision and strategy, helping the team understand important user behaviour patterns.
• Build intuitive user journeys that improve activation and retention metrics.
• Champion the impact of exceptional user experience on business growth, supported by outstanding results.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience in a user-centric, PLG/B2B/SaaS technology environment.
• Experience leading growth design projects with impact on user base growth.
• Experience in end-to-end design processes, including prototyping, visual design, UX research, testing, and data analysis.
• Experience handling product experience challenges with a broad perspective, considering both product and business outcomes.
• Proficient in data-informed design approaches.
• Experience leading a small team of UI/UX designers.
