Shipping & handling responsibilities:

- Leverage industry tools to design, deliver and support enterprise IT client management capabilities, including: client platform standards and performance, software packaging and distribution, patching and configuration, scripting, remote management and threat remediationImplement, integrate and support Okta's cloud technologies

- Provide front line support for technical issues across our environment

- Own and Manage current MDM solutions: Kandji, Google MDM and Workspace One

- Drive quality and adherence to best practices within the teamImplement patches for applications installed on Shippo’s machines.

-Maintain accurate Asset of Shippo Devices.Coordinate with Shippo’s on-boarding team to provision new hires with laptops, access to SaaS-based tools, prep workstations, and provide new hires with IT training

- Perform structured security risk assessment to identify, prioritize, and provide recommendations or solutions for issues foundMaintain and improve the security bar of the Shippo’s corporate infrastructureIdentify ways to improve efficiency and scale services leveraging tools and automation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems engineering preferred
  • Expertise in MDM Management (Kandji, Workspace One or similar)
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash or Go)
  • Supporting users in remote location in different geographies
  • Experience with a SAML/SSO solution. (Okta administration/integration preferred)
  • Experience with integration tools (Workato or similar)
  • Expertise in Google Workspace Administration
  • Expertise in Mac and Windows operating systems
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced English

Our people, much like the packages we help ship, are all over the world. This means, through our remote-first program, “Shippos Everywhere”, our roles can be based anywhere in the US with the exception of Delaware, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Hawaii, New Mexico and West Virginia and many roles can be based internationally.

For locations outside of the US and Ireland, the employment contracts are powered by Remote.com (all Shippo perks still apply - including equity!). What we want to emphasize is that you can be successful at Shippo regardless of location.
