Senior Scientist, Chromatographic Separations, Early Oncology

Join us at AstraZeneca as a Senior Scientist in our Early Oncology discovery chemistry team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a core analytical team that supports Oncology projects from target identification through lead optimization and pre-clinical delivery of candidate drugs. You will be responsible for the reliable isolation of high purity chiral and achiral lead-like compounds with high recovery and quick turnaround times. This is a hands-on laboratory position based in Waltham, MA, with a planned relocation to Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA in 2026.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Scientist, you will be tasked with analytical method development and purifications for chiral and achiral chromatographic separations using Reverse Phase and SFC. You will also handle post-purification dry down, QC, and registration. Additionally, you will support instrumentation, communicate cool science highlights, and tackle novel problems with innovative solutions across multiple instruments, softwares, projects, and workflows.
