The Junior Technical Buyer plays a critical role to source components that are cost effective and meet project schedules. This position will assist in developing new suppliers in the Americas region by overseeing quality and technical capabilities of vendors and will assist cost-out programs and oversee outsourced vendor quality efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with fulfillment & supply chain team to identify vendors who can provide components on-time, in-budget
- Assist the Sr. technical buyer with manufacturing of complex components from quoting to delivery, working with vendors to overcome any obstacles during fulfillment
