Role:

We seek a dynamic, curious, and highly-skilled SEO Manager to join the team at Sleek.

As an SEO Manager, you will develop and implement effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic traffic and improve our online presence. This includes managing on-page and off-page SEO activities and continuously improving our SEO by analyzing web analytics data.

You will report directly to the Head of Content and SEO and will be supported by a junior SEO associate. You will be empowered to work autonomously to find solutions that drive performance and improve rankings from day one.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to improve performance and visibility of the website
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with content teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal content performance.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate SEO with other digital marketing initiatives for cohesive campaigns.
• Identify and track core and emerging keywords, and report on such.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant SEO certifications (e.g., Google, HubSpot, Semrush).
• 3+ years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing trends, with a strong understanding of the online search landscape.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO, and SEO reporting tools.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms, like WordPress.
• Experience with SEO for local businesses and Google My Business optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to own website reporting and progression tracking to Key stakeholders
