Job Description:

This role reports to the Strategic Demand Director. The main purpose is to develop and drive the MW Benelux/ ITR SRM strategy through the specific capability of Pricing, Promo, Mix and Trade terms and to support its deployment across all 3 markets in the Cluster. The role interacts directly with the Region SRM team and connects with other local markets.

As the lead of the SRM practice this role drives improved SRM capabilities, strengthening local delivery of superior portfolio, brand and channel pricing/ promo/ trade activities.

Defining a clear long term SRM roadmap, translated to short term annual planning and execution with cross discipline collaboration and alignment. As the current Benelux/ ITR SRM team is not yet in place the SRM Director/ Lead will be responsible for team building and creating a clear cluster SRM agenda and priority setting.

This role requires strong commercial, strategic, leadership and influencing capability with the ability to build effective working relationships and engage with stakeholders both internally and externally. This with passion for people leadership and development.

  • Experience partnering across the organization to analyze a range of internal & external data sources, drawing out key insights and forming recommendations on the basis of solid consumer and commercial knowledge with strong linkage to business strategy.
  • A track record of successfully creating strategies and translate these into action and delivering results; comfortable presenting to and engaging with Sr. Leaders or forums simplifying complex Concepts and Strategies.
  • Proven functional/technical understanding and know-how across pricing, promo, mix trade
  • Team development and engagement: Experience in building and leading teams with vision and purpose.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strategic & operational impacts of price-value decisions across the 5C’s (i.e. Category, Consumer, Customer, Competitor, Company).
  • Direct experience in monitoring & analyzing market pricing and internal brand pricing architectures. Scenario planning direct and indirect portfolio cost pricing changes and the levers that can be used to maximize profit and growth.
  • Commercial and financial skills with excellent organization agility, understanding the impacts of decisions on the P&L, with the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and ‘can-do’ attitude with strong influencing & problem solving capabilities; ability to challenge the status quo and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Build capabilities In the Cluster. The SRM Strategt Lead drives design and deployment of strategy, leveraging best practice business processes to support local capabilities. This includes partnering with Europe teams for pricing/ promo tool deployment and local compliance, ensuring consistent monitoring of value performance and assessment of future state scenario’s
  • Deliver versatile SRM support at the market and regional level. This includes regular connectivity with regional SRM Director and peers and spans the full suite of four SRM pillars. This organization structure leverages the breadth & depth of Local SRM team capabilities
  • Delivering Floor Prices guidance, governance and monitoring. This includes supporting input as part of the OP process and delivering guidance and floor prices for New launches & governance monitoring, interactions with systems and team for prices maintenance across all of the European units
  • Team Building and engagement: This includes building the new Benelux/ ITR SRM team including 3 direct reports. Drive a clear team vision and purpose, priority setting and short vs long term SRM roadmap.
