Engineering Manager - BIM

We’re looking for and Engineering Manager to join Procore’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) team. In this role, you’ll lead, hire, and manage a cross-functional team of web and mobile developers focused on delivering innovative BIM solutions to some of the construction industry’s toughest problems.

As an Engineering Manager on the BIM Team you’ll partner with product managers, designers and technical leads to ensure cohesive, high quality project development and delivery. You will use your technical background combined with excellent leadership and management skills to ensure that the team meets project goals, and foster a collaborative and innovative environment. This position reports into a Senior Engineering Manager and will be based in our Bangalore location . We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead team recruitment and development.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and timely delivery of web and mobile development projects focused on BIM specific use cases and features.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between development teams and other departments such as Product, Design, and QA to ensure cohesive project development and delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality, and establish metrics to monitor and drive team performance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities, and expectations, ensuring that development aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years total experience as a Software Engineer
• 3+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezones
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience in leading highly effective engineering teams
• Ability to coach, provide mentorship and guidance that aids team growth and development
• Track record of shipping value to customers with high quality
• Ability to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approaches
• Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
• Open to slightly shift working hours to accommodate for time zone differences
• Fluent in spoken and written English
