About the role:

The Head of Performance Management & Contract Excellence for Maersk Ground Freight is responsible for building a comprehensive performance management function, including KPIs to manage commercial, financial, and operational indicators. In this role, you will be accountable for owning profitability analysis and solutions for customer improvement initiatives.

You are a skilled, analytical leader with deep operational experience leading commercial optimization and contracting functions. You can activate quickly, solve complex problems, and navigate effectively within a matrixed environment. You operate across the spectrum, can manage a complex portfolio of services and analyses, and drive outcomes with customers and senior leads.

In this role, you will:

• Build and lead the Performance Management function.
• Run Analytical teams to support KPIs and customer-specific analysis to drive financial and operational improvements.
• Partner closely with commercial to understand customer needs for Maersk Ground Freight products and create standard contracting best practices and tariff management processes
• Partner with Commercial, Delivery, and CX in the development of KPIs and solutions to drive customer outcomes

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business
• 8+ years of experience minimum with Performance Analytics and Contracts, preferably with Ground Freight products
• Experienced leading and building a solid team, maintaining positive engagement
• An analytical leader with deep operational experience
• Able to manage a complex portfolio of services and analysis
• Proven ability to quickly activate and deliver successful solutions for customers
• Strong communication skills, including senior stakeholder management

Travel Requirements: Domestic travel expected up to 20%
