Primarily responsible for design, development and governance of the business data, the team measures, manages, and connects business KPIs across verticals to build a single view of impact areas within the organization.   • Good understanding of database structure and SQL
  • Strong willed, a fast learner and able to work independently

What you will do

  • Design and develop executive dashboards on Power BI and Excel to present metrics and derive statical insights that enable management decision making
  • Support BAU reporting activities to publish dashboards to stakeholders
  • Manage data sets to ensure they are accurate, clean and ready for analysis and manage ETL process
  • Automate process thru Python, Excel VBA or other automation tools
  • Actively engage to identify, evaluate and recommend new metrics and automation tools
  • Design prototypes using standard industry / company practices
  • Gather and document requirements for the program in a structured manner
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs
  • Execute quantitative analysis that translates data into actionable insights.
  • Own and drive work stream(s) within a program assigned and drive them to closure within defined timelines
  • Escalate issues/risks in a timely manner and support in driving resolution
  • Manage program and publish status report and dashboards for program sponsor and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions to meet their requirements
  • Train end-users and coach team members on BI development & other activities.

Requirements

  • MBA or similar degree or comparable experience
  • 5 – 8 years professional experience in reporting, analytics or automation field
  • Advanced experience in excel with ability to write complex formulas, build power queries, power pivots and create data models
  • Expert in creating dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and develop tools from scratch
  • Working knowledge on SQL, DAX queries, data modelling and ETL workflow
  • Good knowledge on managing end-to-end workflow of dashboards and dataset on Power BI platform including RLS for data security
  • Good to have additional skills on Power Platform tools, Python, Excel VBA, AI tools and emerging technologies
  • Added advantage for candidates with Business Analysis skills to gather requirements and translate to user stories
  • Experience in creating good visualizations that focuses on intuitive, user-friendly wireframes that enhances the user experience and enables quick decision making.
  • Experience in business operations reporting, data analysis and similar role.
  • Knowledge on SDLC, Agile practices and project management tools
