Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the creation of the project charter with project stakeholders to ensure the business objective and return of investment is agreed, documented, and distributed to all project team members.
  • Document Statement of Work (SOW), review and facilitate approvals.
  • Apply experience in new product development processes, rollout/go to market strategies, and product life cycle management.
  • Manage Project Management functional scope and schedule. Assemble a cross-functional project team including vendor sourcing and managing RFPs.
  • Apply experience in project management for on-shore and off-shore teams.
  • Utilizing expertise with enterprise architecture to partner with architecture and development resources on alignment of data services and interfaces to meet design objectives across multiple platform(s) and ensure business requirements are met by the proposed and delivered solution(s) .
  • Pull cross functional teams together to ensure all levels of leadership are apprised of the status and drive completion of overall business goals.
  • Establish Project Management standards, policies and templates including Project Charter, Stakeholder Register, RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted and informed) charts, Risk Logs, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Product Requirement Documentation (PRD).
  • Create a RACI and ensure stakeholders are involved: architects, security, business, development, testers and Knowledge Management teams. Develop and update project schedules/plans with actual and forecasted deliverables and manage deviations from plan.
  • Lead and develop definition and measurement of success metrics to objectively quantify project success.
  • Manage financial forecasting, accruals, actuals, and reconcile deviations to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
  • Apply experience with Agile accounting best practices - including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable in iterative approach.
  • Run data queries, data analysis, produce automated reports and communicate to respective stakeholders and project sponsor.
  • Apply experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and risk management using Project Management Book of Knowledge.
  • Serve as a higher-level escalation point for program and projects to resolve and mitigate issues that could hinder the quality or timing of the project/program. .
  • Identify risks in projects and use proven project management techniques to assess and mitigate including Delphi Techniques, Documentation Reviews, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities & Threats), Root Cause Analysis to review risks.
  • Manage scope changes, assess impact, and develop program solutions to minimize the impact and ensure alignment to time and scope.
  • Conduct vendor meetings to examine risks associated with SOW and contracts with external vendors.
  • Apply hands-on experience with enterprise solutions, including PCF Micro Services, Canvas workflow modeling and application integration.
  • Upon project completion, close all project documentation and archive appropriate records and achievements for estimating future similar projects.
  • Provide recommendations of lessons learned for improvements in process and procedure.
  • Apply experience using Software Development (SDLC) tools including, Jira, Clarity, qTest , JiraAlign to track program milestones, risks and launch timelines.
  • Apply experience with Agile for budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable in iterative approach
  • Using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Project Plan, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Tableau, HTML, ServiceNow, Vulnerability Management Response Module and Qualys to manage/report the asset taxonomy and security and vulnerability management assets.

Functional and Technical Skills Requirements

Applicant’s experience must include:

  • Experience using Software Development (SDLC) tools including, Jira, Clarity, qTest, JiraAlign to track program milestones, risks and launch timelines.
  • Using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Project Plan, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Tableau, HTML, ServiceNow, Vulnerability Management Response Module and Qualys to manage/report the asset taxonomy and security and vulnerability management assets.
  • Experience with Agile for budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable in iterative approach.
  • Experience in serving as a higher-level escalation point for program and projects to resolve and mitigate issues that could hinder the quality or timing of the project/program. Use project management techniques to assess and mitigate, including Delphi Techniques, Documentation Reviews, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities & Threats), Root Cause Analysis to review risks.
  • Expertise in establishing Project Management standards, policies and templates, including Project Charter, Stakeholder Register, RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted and informed) charts, Risk Logs, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Product Requirement Documentation (PRD) to effectively manage large cross functional projects that span across multiple layers.
  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Minimum Experience and Education Requirements

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Software, Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience as Senior Project Manager, Technical, Analyst, Systems, Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, Project Lead, or related occupation.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must have bachelor’s degree in Software, Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field or equivalent and 7 years of relevant work experience as Senior Project Manager, Technical, Analyst, Systems, Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, Project Lead, or related occupation.

  • Location: Bothell, WA
  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Timeframe: Full-time

Other: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: Washington Pay: $168,961.59 to $193,900.00 per year

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
