Senior Psychoacoustics Engineer

Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

Senior Psychoacoustics Engineer for Leading Sound Evaluation (m/f/d)

**Your mission

• Lead the tasks related to sound evaluation
• Optimize processes around listening training and qualification
• Assure training and maintaining of listeners capabilities
• Qualify listeners for accurate / objective listening feedbacks
• Responsible for the reference listening room performance, and building of listeners reference experience
• Alignment with HQ (Shanghai) on listening training and objective benchmarking of vehicles
• Assure HUAWEI is at the forefront of accurate subjective sound evaluation

**Your areas of expertise

• Several years of relevant work experience with highest quality home and automotive sound tuning and evaluation
• Master degree or similar in psychoacoustics (or equivalent)
• Expert experience and insight into blind listening training and evaluation
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (German and/or Chinese language knowledge is an advantage)
• Insight in the field of digital signal processing
• Willingness to travel abroad (up to 15% of time)
• Eligibility to work in the European Union is required to be considered for this position
