Reporting to the Brand Director, the Senior Audience Manager is responsible for defining and rolling out the marketing target audience for Trainline, ensuring our customer is clearly defined and customer understanding is at the heart of what we do.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining the marketing target audience in all markets and aligning this with commercial, product, marketing and growth strategies
- Establish measures, provide insight and analytics that enable teams to accurately assess impact of plans and execution on these audiences
- As a critical thinker, continuously develop audience hypotheses with brand teams that enable development and improvement of propositions, plans and creative ideas
- Accountable for internal and external audience targeting tools and insights
- Integrate on and off product audience targeting so that we understand the flow of our marketing effectiveness through product, so that we are able to iterate message and plans
- Embed research led insights: habit index, momentum, segmentation and geograph into our targeting and effectiveness reporting
- Partner with commercial, growth and finance to establish regular audience targeting reporting aligned to objectives
Requirements
- Experience working closely with product; ideally in e-commerce or travel
- Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative insights and data
- Strong stakeholder management skills at a senior level
- Experience working with customer segmentation and embedding into a business
- Experience influencing marketing and brand strategy
- Experience working with multiple markets – UK, IT, ES, FR, US
