Manta is a growing technology company with main office in Linköping. At present, we have about 20 employees, passionate about providing the subsea industry with a platform for responsible underwater autonomy. In the heart of the system are autonomous underwater vehicles that can be utilized for a variety of tasks, ranging from subsea seismic to inspection of underwater infrastructure crucial to our society. What’s the role?

As a software developer at Manta, you could either work with “the brain”, i.e. the control system of the underwater vehicle or on the backend side, i.e. the planning and control system. You will play an important role on our company’s innovation journey. Depending on your profile, your work tasks may include:

• Analyze use cases and create solutions in co-operation with suppliers.
• Field trips to learn the domain and evaluate features.
• Ensure a structured coding process and automatic testing.
• Setting up development environments including simulations.

The location is at our site in Linköping, we are located at IMA One. Travel can be included as a part of the job.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

• Work experience from relevant field, e.g. robotics, automation, digital planning and control system.
• Work experience from or interest in sea or subsea application.
• Experience of coding in e.g. C++, Python.
• Engineering degree within relevant field.
