YOU AGAIN:

Reporting directly to the Sustainability & Impact Lead and working closely with leads, hive masters, employees, and other PALO IT sustainability staff around the world, you will drive both sustainability and impact initiatives within the company and on projects with clients.

You will be responsible for helping to develop and implement our sustainability strategy, roadmap and short- and long-term work plan to deliver on our positive impact trajectory, in support of the following PALO IT Group OKRs:

  • Becoming a climate net-zero company
  • Attaining 50% of revenue from projects with a positive impact
  • Training 100% of our workforce on impact
  • Achieving B Corp certification among all 11 of our offices across the globe
  • Attaining 90% happy employees at PALO IT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development and scaling new offerings on sustainable IT, digital carbon footprint, ESG data platforms, impact design, general awareness, and other technology for positive impact;
  • Contribute to the work with other main functions like marketing and sales teams to promote our services and identify and/or trigger tech4good and/or positive impact business opportunities;
  • Supporting in the development and implementation of our sustainability and impact roadmap, in coordination with global swarm, with success metrics for each OKR of our positive impact transformation journey;
  • Supporting the re-certification for B-Corp and other sustainability network and communities activities;
  • Supporting each hive to embedding impact and sustainability in their own roadmaps;
  • Supporting the development of an Impact Innovation Lab, building meaningful relationships with relevant business and impact partners in Thailand;
  • Support to identify key trends and opportunities for us to expand our competitive strategy with social and environmental impact;
  • Representing us at events and networking venues in the impact ecosystem; and
  • Raising awareness, growing our people, and becoming the ambassador of good practices internally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in English and Thai
  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in sustainability or related field
  • Passion for sustainability along with a strong, proven understanding of the positive impact business landscape
  • 5+ years of experience working as a consultant and with different type of stakeholders, including investors or companies on ESG/sustainability issues while in a leadership position
  • Strong team-player with an ability to think strategically and contextually, and to anticipate the needs and expectations of executive leaders and clients
  • Autonomous, action-oriented and a ‘doer’. You will have to demonstrate fast your ability to deliver concrete, actionable plans and produce new offers
  • Quick learner with clear, intellectual curiosity and a proven track record of being a self-starter
  • Adaptable, with a proven ability to manage the demands of multiple stakeholders, and ready and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Empathic and optimistic mindset, with an attitude grounded in ‘servant leadership’
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to read information/situations from varying perspectives and tailor messages to suit different audiences

Your technical environment

  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts, ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, Business case studies, translating and simplifying requirements, management and communication
  • Transformation projects: Agile, DevOps, architecture, private/hybrid/external cloud
  • Technologies: Big Data; IoT; Artificial Intelligence; Web3, web, tablet and mobile applications
  • Agile and Scrum methodologies

Your role as PALO IT Ambassador

You will be invited to take part in R&D works done within our Practices. You will have the chance to assist or be a speaker at must-attend international IT conferences. You will have the opportunity to write articles for our Blog or specialized press. Genuine ambassador of PALO IT, you will present our offers and take an active role in the development of the company. In addition, you will contribute to the social, environmental and purpose driven objectives and initiatives of PALO IT in order to positively impact our environment, customers, communities and ourselves as an organization and individual.
