Phoenix Contact’s IMC Events and Exhibits Team is looking for a Summer 2024 Fabrication Intern to assist our in-house exhibit fabrication team on the prototyping, production, finishing, and assembling of demos and displays, typically for tradeshow use. This intern will also work on installation, dismantling, and shipping logistics for these and other displays. This position will use various skills and tools for woodworking, plastics, metal, electronics and lighting.

Our Summer interns work full time. The intern has the possibility to continue the internship into Fall 2024.

What does a typical day look like?

The internship requires the use of tools, woodworking, plastics, metal, electronics and lighting. Each day can feel different and has the opportunity to use a variety of skills. Alongside the actual fabrication 'hands-on work' is the maintenance of the machines and the facility.
