As an Engineering Excellence and System Automation Director at MTB, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating a range of improvement initiatives to deliver significant cost savings and achieve company objectives. You will also responsible for the development of the LEAN, Continuous Improvement Programs thru PDCA ( Plan, Do, Check, Action) across divisions in MTB as well as collaboration with network such as central manufacturing, Procurement, PDE, TSE and other captive sites, drive LEAN improvement culture through business, with a focus on problem-solving and demonstration of Micron core values.

Responsibilities

• Developing and applying LEAN tools and methodologies to achieve financial objectives and improvements to KPIs.
• Exemplifying the culture of Continuous Improvement when dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitating improvements based on strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations
• Developing tactical action items from corporate strategic vision
• Coaching a team-oriented problem-solving approach to Analyze current condition, Diagnose problems, and make Improvements.
• Training TMs, peers, and leaders on LEAN methods in both formalized training sessions and Stop-and-teach at Gemba
• Leading and coaching Kaizen events
• Driving LEAN transformation in challenging areas where rollout needs a catalyst for change.
• Collaborate with Central Teams, PDE, TSE, other sites to support Micron objectives.
• Identifying, coaching and mentoring future LEAN talent to support business.
• Provide guidance on people strategies to attract, retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to maximize every individual’s caliber.

Candidate Key Criteria

• With 10+ year experience in engineering and operation management.
• Manufacturing system and continuous improvement mindset essential
• Strong business and financial acumen, engaging and dynamic leadership skills
• Experience with LEAN transformation and rollout across multiple areas.
• Strong collaborative attitude with focus on promoting team work while growing the internal network
• Experience working in a multinational organization, and engaging with global leadership in a matrix environment
• Experience in ramping and leading manufacturing sites
