Frontend Engineer role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Sales Squad, focusing on invoicing, payments, quotes, and estimates. This pivotal role will steer our critical business acquisition channels, offering a best-in-class user experience as we expand across European markets.

The ideal candidate for this role, is a frontend specialist who possesses a strategic mindset and passion for leveraging frontend technologies to drive business objectives. Serving as a key player in front end chapter meetings, this role will support developing and standardising web & mobile capabilities across the group, designing reusable, innovative, and user-centric interfaces that elevate the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of interactive, high-performance UIs using React, ensuring components are both delightful to use and inclusive for all users.
• Architect and develop robust frontend components and APIs, setting standards for our frontend teams.
• Consume and enhance our internal design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across projects.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers in your product team to ideate, prototype, and launch new features effectively.
• Drive code quality and maintainability through rigorous review processes, mentorship, and advocating for best practices in code hygiene.
• Champion automated testing and continuous integration practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Influence product strategy and engineering roadmap by working with your senior peers, bringing your mature frontend perspective to planning and decision-making processes.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of the latest technologies and methodologies.

• React 18, React Native, Styled Components, React Query, Context API, React Hook Form
• TypeScript 5
• Internal Design System + Storybook + Chromatic
• ESLint / Prettier / Husky
• Jest, React Testing Library

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with significant expertise in React and modern JavaScript frameworks and a strong understanding of the latest specifications and features.
• Proven track record of developing and leading large-scale projects in a dynamic product focused environment.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and a passion for delivering empathetic user experiences.
• Strong experience in supporting frontend practices across teams and in the broader context of engineering
• A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas effectively and influence multiple cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and cooperative approach to problem-solving and development, with a commitment to professional growth and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, enhancing structural organization, simplifying complex UI logic and reusability.
• Experience with performance optimization, ensuring that web applications are fast and responsive for all users.
• Skilled in code debugging, able to quickly identify and resolve issues to maintain high standards of code quality and reliability.
• Experienced in utilizing design systems to streamline development processes and ensure UI consistency across applications.
