About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 11 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

You’ll be teaming up with one of our founders, Tom, our Chief Strategy Officer, who is focused on accelerating the success and impact of Auror. Over the next 2-3 years, we’re looking to grow revenue from tens of millions to hundreds of millions. You’ll play a key role in this growth.

While you’ll enjoy working at pace in a dynamic environment, you’ll also bring structure and rigour, complementing the instinctual nature of our CSO.

Where Tom is strong:

  • Product judgement, where the opportunities our to better met the current and future needs of our customers.
  • First principle thinking - focusing on the problems that actually matter.
  • Bias to action.
  • Conviction and inspiring others.

Where Tom needs help:

  • Bring rigour to test assumptions and hypotheses
  • Create structure that helps the team come on the journey - “alone you go faster, together you go further”
