Accounting Team Support

The Matian Firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance department as an Accounting Team Support member. This member will be a support to our accounting team. If you possess a strong background in accounting principles and have great organizational skills, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Track, process, and ensure timely payment of accounts payable.
• Manage accounts receivable collections and reconcile client accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Collaborate with various departments to support financial operations.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with the Finance Team and other departments to address financial inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
• 2 years of experience in accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $22.00-$26.00/hr
