Automation Services Engineer Sr.

Purpose

Execute the Field Services of Conventional and Integrated PCM Systems with a level of technical difficulty up to industrial, distribution and sub-transmission mainly for the National and/or American market with the instructions and objectives of Engineering Services Management to validate compliance with customer requirements for boards and integrated systems, and to perform Field Services, on time, on budget and under the required quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Execute service activities in the field (Testing of automation equipment, relays, pre-operational, ready, training, energization, etc.) of conventional and integrated PCM Systems up to levels Industrial, 2. Distribution and Subtransmission, so that they are delivered to the client on time, budget and under the required specifications and quality standards.

3. Review project information and budgets up to industrial, distribution and sub-transmission levels, so that the project execution margins are agreed upon with the Management of proposals and the corresponding leadership.

4. Coordinate previous activities necessary to carry out the service in order to establish the appropriate technical and security conditions for the execution of the service.

5. Test and verify logic settings of control and automation equipment and protection relays (for conventional boards and integrated systems), to ensure the functionality and quality of the PCM system.

6. Manage and apply test teams for the different functional tests of PCM systems, to ensure the functionality and quality of the PCM System

7. Prepare the documentation (test protocols, log, minutes) and reports of activities carried out during the service in order to have documentary evidence of the correct performance of the service.

8. Participate and Perform Internal Tests (for boards conventional and integrated systems) to ensure the functionality and quality of the Product

9. Protect the equipment and tools used in field and internal tests to ensure that the tests are carried out with equipment with certified calibration

10. Ensure compliance with the required safety standards for the execution of the project.

11. Identify, measure and improve the processes of the Engineering Services Management to guarantee continuous improvement

12. Live and act in accordance with SEL values to carry out daily activities.
