Position summary

T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. The Engineers, Software is located in Frisco, TX and will lead development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications.

• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems.
• Code, test, and debug documents, and implement software applications.
• Coordinate with users to determine requirements.
• Support business units on requirements management, solution design, and solution delivery with cutting-edge systems and applications to manage Big Data for storage and retrieval demands.
• Design, document, develop, modify, test, and support new and existing software applications.
• Apply information regarding security policies, principles, and practices to the development of application software.
• Translate systems requirements into applications prototypes.
• Evaluate new applications regarding software technologies.

Skill Requirements:

Must have professional experience in:

• Conducting backend Api development with relational/NoSql databases, including MongoDB and Cassandra;
• Utilizing React, Spring boot, Heroku, Python, JSF, and Ericson velocity studio;
• Using Microservices Design and development with Swagger, Amdocs MSBuilder, Java, Junit, Amdocs Microservices Management Platform, and Amdocs Microservices360;
• Supporting CI/CD, Security and Application monitoring with AWS, Docker, Kibana, Elasticsearch, App Dynamics, Splunk, A3S, and KMS

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology**,** or related, and 1 year of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology**,** or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
