Business Controller

Job Description

For our Innovation Department in Nootdorp, the Netherlands, we are looking for a Business Controller to join our finance team and to support our mission to be seen as true financial business partner, assisting the company to achieve its mission and goals.

As a team we provide Fugro management with timely, transparent, and meaningful management information and business insights to support fact-based decision-making. At all times we ensure integer financial results that are compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. We continuously strive for world-class efficiency, levering one standardized IT landscape with transactional- and rule-based-accounting from Shared Service Centers.

In this varied role you work closely together with Group Control, Corporate Finance and Regional Control.

Your role

• You review projects, prepare forecast & budget in conjunction with project managers and entity director, ensure completeness of invoicing and closing of projects;
• You review and support FSSC with the month end process and Tagetik load, and prepare the month end management report;
