Head of GBS Invoice to Pay

Financial Reporting – Global Business Services (GBS) Finance is part of the CFO area in Statkraft. We are executing the financial accounting and reporting processes for all legal entities in Statkraft. Our Finance employees are highly valued business partners with strategic and operational focus and are the catalyst for driving our business transformation. The global Invoice to Pay unit is focusing on standardizing and improving our global processes from receipt of an invoice to the payment by applying our state-of-the-art digital toolbox covering ERP, process mining and banking applications to name some.

The unit is furthermore also executing and continuously developing the master data processes around customers and vendors for the group.

As the Head of GBS Invoice to Pay global, you’ll:

• head a team of 5 managers in four countries and be responsible for the alignment and coordination of the country specific requirements, streamline the global processes and ways of working and align closely with the local finance teams the services delivered, focusing on cost-efficient and scalable processes and procedures.
• ensure that systems do sufficiently cover our information needs and that implemented processes are compliant to all relevant requirements ranging from indirect tax formal requirements up to process compliance in cooperation with Procurement, GBS Unit & Tax Reporting, local Business Area Finance teams etc.
• continuously contribute and improve our fraud prevention tools and procedures, master data quality, electronic invoice coverage and implementation of requirements, payment processing and process mining based efficiency surveillance
• support the local managers in developing our talents and take care for the well-being of our employees and lead with the Statkraft ways of goal development dialogues and other modern HR related actions and activities.
• ensure strong backup mechanisms and avoid vulnerability in the foundation of our financial processes.
• support your team’s development with regards to digital and business competencies to ensure that GBS Finance is the best business partners for our internal customers.
• participate in finance integrations of newly acquired companies.

Requirements

We look for an experienced leader profile with the essential skills to develop the team and increase the digital and processual readiness in close collaboration with the plans and capabilities in the headquarter. Leading teams in several locations, time zones with a truly diverse background mainly by applying digital communication methods is nothing new to you.

That includes:

• 6+ years of experience in a comparable management function in finance or as a consultant in the same field
• Experience in Invoice-to-Pay processes, master data for customers and vendors and the application of state-of-the-art applications.
• Track record of being able to drive and deliver on projects and improvement initiatives.
• Goal-oriented with good leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Likes to develop others and takes joy in other people’s success.
• Fluent in English and one other relevant language – ideally conversational level in Norwegian
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Celonis process mining is of advantage.
