Candeno is currently looking for a Part-time Business Intelligence Specialist

The opportunity 🤩 At Candeno, we seek a thorough and solution-oriented part-time BI Specialist to strengthen our Finance and BI department. The focus will be on the presentation and visualisation of complex data through Plecto dashboards and reporting tools.

You will ✅ As a BI Specialist, you will use your data-driven and analytical nature to develop and optimise our implementation of dashboards for reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) while using your communicative skills to convey data to internal and external stakeholders. You will report to our Finance & BI Manager and work closely with our Finance & BI team and other departments. You will also:

• Develop and optimise organisational standards for data visualisation.

• Create tailored financial dashboards and report tools for management and the board.

• Ensure consistent reporting practices across the organisation.

• Lay the foundation for data-driven decision-making in the organisation.

• Extract, transform, and load data to build a robust semantic model.

You are 💙 We are looking for a candidate with a diligent and result-oriented approach to managing our business intelligence while supporting the finance department with other tasks and supporting other teams with the function of operations. We are also looking for a candidate with:

• With a relevant education or experience in the field

• Experience with MySQL and a solid understanding of databases.

• The willingness to develop strong reporting skills.

• The ability to analyse and communicate complex data convincingly.

• Thorough and precise approach to task solving.

• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.

• Interest in driving projects within the BI field and identifying process optimisation opportunities.

• Thrives in a role with many tasks simultaneously
