The ideal candidate will leverage the three pillars of product operations—Data and Insights, Customer and Market Insights, and Processes and Practices—to drive continuous improvement and support our product teams in delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Data and Insights:

  • Establish and maintain robust data collection and analysis systems to provide actionable insights that drive product decisions.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the health and performance of product initiatives.
  • Utilize data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and guide strategic planning.

Customer and Market Insights:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform product strategy and development.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Ensure that product decisions are grounded in a deep understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics.

Processes and Practices:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve product development processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Standardize best practices for product management, including backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure processes are adaptable and scalable to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of new tools, processes, and methodologies that support efficient and effective product operations.

Product Lifecycle:

  • Regularly assess the portfolio’s health, including product performance, market fit, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for product launch, growth, maturity, and decline phases.
  • Ensure seamless transition and support throughout the lifecycle, including post-launch enhancements and end-of-life considerations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with R&D, marketing, sales, and service & support teams to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Facilitate clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Advocate for a customer-centric approach, ensuring all product decisions are grounded in customer needs and feedback.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product operations team.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Foster an inclusive and innovative team culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling product operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Passionate about creating customer value and delivering impactful products
