What are you going to do?

As an Lean Operational Management Expert your main goal is to advise the squads, individual squad members and all other relevant roles (stakeholders and managers) within the Delivery Organisation to improve their skills and performance. You lead the desired change to create a maximum performance in every aspect and are able to effectively detect and solve the problems that are impeding this.

You train the squads and challenge them to continuously improve their way of working.

Your efforts are aimed at creating high-performing teams through challenging, coaching and inspiring on content and processes via an active role towards the team members and management.

This also contains that you:

  • Challenge relevant stakeholders to improve their way of working.
  • Create collaboration mechanisms between all the squads, PO etc. to ensure alignment between respective stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the processes, and in the collaboration of squads. You provide methods to solve these problems.

In addition, you stimulate a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

You are aware of the latest developments and trends with regard to Lean, Agile, Change management and you translate this to practical ways of working. You ensure that your teams apply this way of working as a team and as individuals.

Your education, experience and background:

  • You are fluent both in Dutch and in English (C2 level) and have current residency in the Netherlands
  • You have a Master degree or comparable working and thinking level
  • 5+ years proven practical experience with Lean, Agile, Change management and IT
  • Knowledge of the Wholesale Banking industry, and preferably Cash Pool and Netting knowledge is considered an asset
  • You cooperate, show courage, take responsibility, you have trust, you speak up, you are creative and you are driven to simplify
  • You have sharp analytical skills and are able to investigate complex problems
  • You have a can do mentality and you also ask that of others
  • You easily adapt to a new environment and you are a sparring partner for all business levels
  • You have excellent people management skills: listening, motivating, observing
