Business Development Assistant

WCS Group is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Business Development Assistant. In this role, you will support the business development manager in selling the company’s full product range to new and existing customers, as well as managing client contracts and relationships. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and meeting the company’s strategic objectives.

This role is office based.

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing and mailshot prospect campaigns
• Assist sales team with sales strategies and target areas for growth
• Develop strategies to grow business in sales areas
• Record data and analyse sales product types to assist in development of future product areas
• Monitor tender portals to identify sales opportunities
• Assist and coordinate completing tender documents for tender responses
• Upload tender documents to tender portals
• Telemarketing / lead generation in agreed locations / market sectors.
• Attend and assist Trade Shows and Sponsored Events as and when required.
• Assist in the design and production / supply of marketing and promotional materials.
• Record KPI of current sales targets for sales team
• Develop KPI targets as appropriate
• Identifying client contacts within targeted sales areas and updating BMS and CRM database
• Updating historical information to BMS and CRM for filter refurbishments
• Update sales information onto CRM and produce reports on sales data
• Writing of filter inspection reports to generate leads for refurbishment work
• Develop strategies for growth of cross selling business within WCS and Marlowe
• Complete costs and quotes for small/medium repairs and refurbishment works to assist sales team when required

Requirements

• Degree or A-Levels
• Confident with MS packages
• Ability to use initiative
• Work well as a team
