Controller to Corporate Control

About the role

We are expanding the Corporate control team with a pivotal role. As a Controller you will collaborate closely with various business areas to provide the management with insights on business performance. Your responsibilities cover a wide range of various CFO agenda items, from optimizing internal financial processes to pioneering innovative ideas. Your role shapes the future CFO organization in a fast-paced environment.

Main tasks include:

• Strategizing long-term planning processes, quarterly reporting, tailored for key stakeholders and management.
• Financial analysis that is adaptable to global scenarios
• Leading various projects related to the CFO agenda, running controller forums across business areas, seasonal preparations for follow-up, reporting and presentation
• Setting targets for If and engaging in strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with the Corporate Strategy team
• Developing presentations

About the team

The Corporate Control team is a part of the CFO organization and collaborates closely with the business areas and other corporate functions across If. You will be a part of a highly skilled and talented team of controllers with various backgrounds and experience. In our team we share knowledge and ideas to continuously stay ahead and help each other succeed along the way.

As a team, we strive to be the preferred centre of contact for financial and key business performance related topics and thanks to our central role and many touch points spanning all the way into the core business, we are in a good position to know a little about a lot and to tie it all together. Being a team of 7-8 people, often with tight deadlines, we appreciate a flexible mindset, and we help each other out wherever needed.

Who are you?

You can deal with complexity, simplify, and clarify topics and drive focused execution of tasks – big and small. You don´t wait for an assignment to come to you but see what needs to be done and come up with ideas on how to do it. You quickly grasp the core of every task and how it fits into the bigger picture, which enables you to focus on the right things and in the right way. You pay attention to the important details to ensure reliable deliveries of the highest quality.

You are an analytical person with a can-do attitude, you are curious to learn new things, self-motivated and can challenge yourself to grow. You are also a team player prioritizing the team spirit and having fun along the way. Additionally, we believe you should find the following list descriptive of who you are:

• Relevant academic/university degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a management consultant
• Experience from project management and structured problem solving
• Experience in creating and developing presentations in PowerPoint for the management and board
• Ability to translate data and analysis into solid insights presented in a pedagogical way
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and Swedish

Location: This role will be based in our office in Bergshamra, Solna.
