Contract Recruiter

Chowbus is a fast growing, well-funded food startup headquartered in Chicago on a mission to help diners to discover new and exquisite dishes, and to give traditional mom and pop restaurants a fighting chance to succeed without compromising who they truly are. By building a super app, our goal is to be the one stop shop for everything related to food.

We're in search of a Contract Recruiter to provide essential support for our staffing requirements over the next 3-6 months. This role will be as an independent contractor, Potential for contract extension or full-time conversion based on performance.

What You’ll Bring:

• Source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.
• Review and screen candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications and experiences and input in ATS.
• Schedule the interview with candidates and hiring managers.
• Collaborate with hiring manager and HR Manager during the verbal offer process and secure placement.

Qualifications / Skills:

• At least 2+ years hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle is required.
• Knowledge of laws regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources is preferred.
• Industry hiring experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Meet and Zoom.
