Scrum Master on Nevio - (Digital)

Business Environment

Traveler Touchpoints and eXperience engineering (TRU-ALT-ENG-TTX) aims at defining and developing all the technology necessary to power the online experience of airline travelers allowing airlines to excel in online retailing. This scope includes optimized APIs for direct channels, Web touchpoints, Mobile Apps and service center. This scope is also complemented by powerful customization tools allowing airlines to constantly optimize their direct channels via no-code and code approaches. All cloud enabled, backed up by standard and open technology friendly to most developers.

To do so, the Digital tribe is interfacing with many other Amadeus teams who own, maintain and deliver the corresponding enablers of a delightful traveler experience (e.g. offer, order, payment, platform).

The digital business counts today 125 airline customers and behind them millions of users of airline Digital assets powered by our product (Web touchpoints, Mobile Apps, service center tools).

As a result, the Digital tribe regroups 900 people, located all around the world, that are dispatched in Agile Release Trains coordinated by a large solution.

As part of the development of the Nevio product we are looking for a Scrum Master.

About the role

As Scrum Master you will be responsible to assist the self-organizing, self-managing team to achieve its goals, supported by SAFe practices and principles.

You will act as a facilitator in many activities, including:

  • Coaching on SAFe principles and practices, encouraging the team for relentless improvement
  • Removing impediments,
  • Supporting the team rules,
  • Organizing and animating the different ceremonies (daily, demo, retrospective, orchestrate sprint review and sprint planning)
  • Encouraging a safe and efficient environment for the team, proposing new ways of working (tools, communication).

You will also support the Product Owner to manage the backlog, guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.

As part of the Digital Orchestration Engines Train (Red Train), you will as well:

  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, RTEs, Product Managers and stakeholders to resolve conflicts related to prioritization, dependencies, and impediments
  • Use data and metrics to generate actionable and measurable opportunities for continuous improvement within the team, and Train
  • Contribute to foster the synergies with the other train's teams and more particularly the ones contributing to the same delivery objectives.

About the ideal candidate

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • You like supporting and helping others: listening to their need but also advising and providing a vision they can build on.
  • You want to build a collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge transfer and sharing across the teams, and finding ways to foster good communication.
  • You are keen on breaking new ground, learning new development environments and technical solutions - not afraid to be a beginner.
  • You are an agilist with a deep understanding of development frameworks, best practices, and applications.
