Senior Front End Software Engineer - Booking Engine

As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will develop new architectures, features, and best practices, as well as aid the application's front-end transformation to react. You will contribute to and support our vision of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) by engineering frontend components and services. As a Senior Front-end Engineer, your goal is to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers all around the world.

This role will be a member of the Booking Engine squad. Driving direct bookings has always been important for our customers, as direct bookings have a lower customer acquisition cost than third-party bookings, they put the property in control, and provide the property more ability to interact with their guests (ie sending pre-arrival forms and upsells).

Across the entire hotel industry, direct bookings account for roughly 30% of the booking volume. The same is true for Cloudbeds properties. And while some properties drive a very low volume of direct bookings, others invest heavily into marketing campaigns and guest loyalty, and drive upwards of 90% of the entire booking volume as direct bookings.
