What you'll do:

  • Be part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance of a global product;
  • Be responsible for leading the strategic and vision narratives of the team, focusing on development for mobile and web platforms;
  • Addressing the main challenges of providing services to the engineering team from a product perspective, with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and quality metrics;
  • Take charge of leading the strategic direction and vision of the Architecture Team. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and communicate a clear roadmap that aligns with the company's overall objectives and goals;
  • Develop a comprehensive product perspective that aligns with the needs of the engineering team. Understand their requirements and translate them into actionable plans, ensuring the team's services meet their expectations and challenge;
  • Drive a focus on scalability, reliability, and quality within the Architecture Team. Define and track key metrics to measure success, such as system uptime, response time, error rates, and customer satisfaction;
  • Ensure effective release management by implementing a proper single-target app and canary strategy. Stay up-to-date with mobile store policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and a seamless release process;
  • Define and monitor engineering productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the engineering team to establish benchmarks and goals, focusing on metrics such as code churn, cycle time, and test coverage;
  • Be constantly challenged to create world-class solutions.

What you'll need:

  • University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development;
  • Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving;
  • Experience as a software engineer or as a software architect / SRE engineer;
  • Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives and vision narratives within a technical team;
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web development technologies, architectures, and best practices;
  • Familiarity with release management processes, mobile store policies, and app deployment strategies;
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and metrics, including deployment frequency, lead time, mean time to recover, and change failure rate;
  • Passion for creating exceptional developer experiences and improving engineering productivity;
  • Advanced communication skills in English (written and spoken);
