Principal Software Architect

Tahzoo is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Software Architect to lead our technology team and drive innovation in our projects. As the Director of Technology at Tahzoo, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the company's technology strategies and initiatives. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to align technology solutions with business objectives and ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and client facing skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving technological advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the solution architecture, development, implementation, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of technologies for both Client and Internal stakeholders
• Provides leadership for short and long-term planning for all technology initiatives: innovation, vision, goals, program objectives/strategies/activities, scheduling, infrastructure, staffing, training, evaluation, budgeting, and collaboration with others.
• Develop and execute the company's key technology strategies and initiatives
• Provide leadership and direction to the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Provides leadership and establishes standards and best practices across the technology team
• Manage technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate, define, and implement technology solutions that meet business needs for both client solutions and internal stakeholders
• Plans for, establishes, and manages the development of reusable code and libraries for future use in a variety of different languages
• Accurately translate user and business needs and design into functional front-end
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end code into larger applications
• Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, and Test Automation Engineers to establish the appropriate functional & testing requirements
• Work closely with Clients and other development teams to solution architect enterprise grade implementations and integrations of both their existing tooling and infrastructure, as well as 3rd party services and platforms
• Communicate project status and key milestones to stakeholders
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend innovative approaches and solutions
• Performing Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) on a host of different technologies and best practices
• Oversee the technological direction of the company, manage the technology team, and implement systems and strategies to enhance our products and services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles
• Proven experience as a software architect
• Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience with Agile, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD and source control management
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of technologies and frameworks such as MVC, MVVM, N-Tier Architecture, Database Normalization, Authentication and Authorization, Federated Identity Management, Search, Taxonomies and Ontologies, CMS, CCMS, CRM, LMS, and Web-Application development
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Salary range: $140-150k

Compensation will be determined based on your level of experience.
