We are looking for an experienced Senior System and Network Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructures focusing on Terraform and Ansible automation. In this role, you will be crucial in managing our architecture, ensuring optimal performance, and hosting components for all applications, primarily on OVH and GCP.

As Senior System and Network Platform Engineer, you will:

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable and efficient system and network platforms using Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor and optimize performance to ensure high availability and reliability using Datadog.
• Participate in Network Backbone design and implementation on Megaport.
• Manage and maintain system and network deployment solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand hosting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement automation for deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Diagnose and resolve system and network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and procedures.

What will contribute to your success:

• Expertise in Terraform and Ansible automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.
• Strong experience in system and network management, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly OVH and GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment and management.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Proven track record in installation, setup, and configuration of high availability, secure, and resilient hosting facilities in 24/7 production environments.
• In-depth understanding of infrastructure design.
• Strong experience in system and network performance tuning and monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and services.
