Your Role

As a Brand Designer at Gensler, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique environmental experiences across a diverse media landscape. You are passionate about helping clients enhance their brand and business performance through design, and adept at developing creative, up-front design concepts. Join a team of thinkers and doers who help client to express their story through graphic and branded communications.

This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will be expected to live in or relocate to the Denver, CO area.

What You Will Do

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team of brand strategists, designers, and architects to design graphics, branded environments, signage and wayfinding solutions that connect people to place for diverse client projects.

  • Conduct research for the organizational, cultural and physical context of a project

  • Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients

  • Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two and three-dimensional built environments

  • Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD, print, or digital applications

  • Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries

  • Mentor junior designers through collaboration and production experience

  • Work with fabricators to review shop drawings, samples and final installation

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Development, Signage Design and Wayfinding creating detailed design intents, message schedules & location plans based on architectural construction documents
  • Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to see the big picture
  • Strong wayfinding planning experience including conducting research, site survey, developing wayfinding strategies, and documenting design solutions (sign type drawings, message schedules & location plans)
  • Proficiency drawing in scale and familiarity with architectural construction documents, elevations, plans, and shop drawings
  • Excellent communication skills and experience as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teams
  • Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized
  • Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types
  • Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
  • Revit, CadTools, Sketchup, Rhino, or Enscape experience a plus, but not required

**Compensation is based upon experience and estimated range is $80,000 – $100,000 annually + bonuses + benefits
