We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join our Global Data Science and Innovation team at Kantar. As a member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on exciting and challenging AI-led projects within our organization. This fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment will allow you to contribute to the development of world-class AI solutions using the latest advancements in AI/ML.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features in our framework to enable enhanced functionality for both internal and external users.
  • Champion good software development practices within the AI team.
  • Write tests and documentation to ensure the quality and maintainability of our codebase.
  • Integrate machine learning models with other systems to facilitate seamless data flow and analysis.
  • Build and maintain scalable and efficient AI pipelines and infrastructure for deployment.
  • Deploy AI models and solutions into production environments, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
  • Implement robust version control and model management practices to track changes and updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader engineering team to align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Engage in cross-team information exchange, sharing insights and innovative solutions within the AI/ML domain.
  • Collaborate with teams by using models and their output to enhance decision-making effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a prestigious technical institute in a related field.
  • 3 to 8 years as a Site Reliability Engineer (background in Infrastructure).
  • Excellent level of experience DevOps (automation).
  • Technical depth with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and coding in Python.
  • Strong coding skills and experience in R.

Desired skills that would be a distinct advantage:

  • Experience in developing and maintaining live deployments.
  • Previous involvement in larger software projects, writing code for others to read and use.
  • Working knowledge of R Shiny.
  • Comfortable working in global setups with diverse cross-geography teams and cultures.
  • Seeking individuals who bring a high level of enthusiasm, motivation, and a natural inclination to explore and take initiative.
  • Strong English language proficiency, encompassing both technical and business-related communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to balance the big picture with fine details.

Other valued skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems, including system administration, shell scripting, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to develop and integrate APIs, with experience in RESTful services.
  • Knowledge of Agile working methodologies for product development.
  • Familiarity with optimization problems.
