About the role

Gartner is looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer (IAM) focused on stable, secure, and proactive management of the Identity service to on-premises and cloud services at scale in a rapidly growing environment. The role requires experience of developing automations and solutions using Secure SDLC framework. which helps in the implementation and operations of the solutions to address identity challenges.

What you will do

• Develop robust solutions using secure SDLC framework.
• Build Automations in AWS/Azure/Cloud using serverless technology, consuming services, API integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with existing infrastructure, applications, and workflows.
• Create custom libraries and modules in PowerShell /Python
• Develop solutions following secure SDLC framework and agile methodologies.
• Proposes software and configuration enhancements to adapt to changes in business requirements or to gain efficiencies through automation.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of technical requirements, designs, infrastructure, and support processes.
• Participate and contribute to the short term and long-term roadmap initiatives.

What you will need

• Professional with 3 + years’ experience of working on IT security projects in a fast-paced, time-bound environment.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, dot net)
• Good understanding of concepts like JSON, REST, SOAP, XML
• Experience of working with any of the cloud environments (AWS/AZURE).
• Experience of leveraging APIs in automations.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Secure SDLC framework.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline-based deployments.
• Familiarity with any of version control tools like git, bitbucket.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or similar
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
• Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
• Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 113,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
