Responsibilities and Impact:

• Implement robust observability frameworks to monitor system health, performance metrics, and logging across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability and proactive issue detection.
• Design and manage disaster recovery strategies and incident response plans, conducting regular drills to ensure team readiness and system resilience.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, focusing on automation, scalability, and security compliance.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, integrating observability and reliability checks to enhance software delivery and reliability.
• Champion SRE principles, focusing on automation, to reduce manual intervention and toil, while improving system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable, highly available cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure, adhering to best practices and security standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior SREs and other engineering teams, sharing knowledge and promoting SRE best practices across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a strong background in C# or Python.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles, experience implementing disaster recovery, high availability, and incident response in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including the ability to implement and manage comprehensive observability frameworks.
• Proficiency with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledgeable in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid foundation in cloud networking, security best practices, and compliance standards, with an ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to lead effectively under pressure during incident response and outage management.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with advanced observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, DataDog) for monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, including serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and cloud security posture management.
• Experience in leading post-mortem analyses and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence of incidents.
