About the Role

1. Conduct statistical analysis for decision management, and perform pricing assumption modelling and analysis for Corporation Solutions.
2. Develop the new product/revamp existing product to support the CSD strategy.

As a Product & Pricing Analyst at AIA, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ambitious goals and shape the future of finance and insurance in Malaysia. You will be responsible for conducting statistical analysis for decision management, performing pricing assumption modelling and analysis for Corporation Solutions, and developing new products or revamping existing ones to support our CSD strategy. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting pricing assumption analysis, supporting pricing teams, monitoring performance, and providing analytical insights to inform decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pricing assumption analysis (including development, maintenance), e.g. Manual Rating, Medical Inflation studies, IBNR assumption
• Support NB and RB Pricing teams in Pricing Model via analysis and recommendation
  Conduct CS performance monitoring via Analytical Dashboards. This covers both Financial (Profitability, Pricing effectiveness and adequacy) and non-Financial (e.g. Portfolio by Channel).
  Support CS decision making via analytical insight, including understand the CS P&L (Byline) and its underlying trend
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis request and report request from collaborators
• Leading in identifying market opportunity via analysis, e.g. Lead Management, product comparison.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities via analysis
• Ensure scheduled and ad-hoc Analysis and Management Report submission on timely manner and at highest quality
• Contribute in Projects and/or Initiatives as Subject Matter Experts
• Provide on-the-job guidance to junior team members
• Assist in providing internal staff roll down for new/modified product.
• Assist in preparing sales collateral, including necessary approval.
