Solutions Architect

CO2 AI is an end-to-end sustainability management platform that enables complex enterprises to quickly and effectively drive sustainability at scale.

As a Solutions Architect, you will participate in pre and post sales technical activities. You will ensure the successful evaluation and deployment of end-to-end data engineering pipelines that will be used by our most strategic customers to convert sustainability initiatives into action. Using your strong communication skills and technical expertise, you will design and deploy solutions that will be the bedrock of future expansion within our customers’ footprint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (AND WHY IT MATTERS)

• Work with your AE on new business and expansion opportunities, by being the preferred technical advisor of your prospects and customers
• Script, configure and deliver product demos tailored to your prospects and customers needs
• Run proof of concepts (POCs) showcasing the capabilities of CO2 AI sustainability platform
• Collaborate with sales and product team to answer RFPs
• Collect, map out and clean our clients’ data to make it digestible by the CO2 AI software
• Document the end-to-end data process flow, continually looking for ways to improve the way we collect and process data
• Create and refine our customers' carbon footprints
• Work side by side with our customers to understand their businesses and build accurate business forecasts within the software
• Contribute to identifying the best abatement levers enabling our customers to reduce their carbon footprints, and implement them within the software
• Support clients requests (which may include bugs or feature requests triage, in collaboration with the product and engineering team)
• Represent the voice of your customer by collaborating with the rest of the customer success team
• Help your customers maintain/upgrade their instances
• Continually look for ways to improve and manage effective implementations and promote usage of our platform in your customer base.
• Work closely with the Delivery team, ensuring we collect all key information and learn from every delivery
• Help make a change within companies, and contribute actively to the fight against global warming

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• 2-5 years of experience as a data engineer / data scientist, in a customer facing SaaS function, ideally in a high-growth environment
• 2-5 years of experience in Solutions Architecture/Engineering/Consulting (ability to listened to customer requirements, run pre-sales activities, whiteboard and propose architectures, with a very tech hand-on approach)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, Masters degree preferred
• Fluent in English
• A genuine passion for working with data - collecting and cleaning data in a way that makes it ingestible by the software, grasping a variety of computer languages, including Python
• An experience creating a carbon footprint for a client is preferred
• Knowledge on climate accounting, GHG emissions / categories as well as Emissions Factors are preferred (or willingness to learn)
• An interest in supporting clients in building their climate baseline, and identifying reduction opportunities

• Ability to adapt to new and dynamic environments - we are an early stage startup
• Strong communication and presentation skills

WHERE YOU WILL BE BASED

Full remote from the US (our offices are based in Paris, France).

YOUR TEAM

In this role, you will report to the head of Customer Success. You will work closely with the whole Customer Success team, as well as our sales, product and engineering team
