As the Automation Manager here at Entain Australia and New Zealand; where you'll drive the stability and growth of our enterprise data pipeline and technology integrations. Leading a talented team of data and coding experts, you'll navigate a diverse array of coding languages, technologies, and data methodologies. Where and how you can work

Your day-to-day.

• Design, enhance, and maintain live reporting and data streaming pipelines, ensuring 24/7 availability and 100% uptime.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team, fostering sustainable work practices and standards.
• Contribute to building and maintaining ETL scripts and integrated business data solutions.
• Identify gaps in information provision and opportunities for new support levels for business decision-making and operations.
• Scope, maintain, and deliver key enterprise projects, managing project deliverables and providing continual updates to business stakeholders.
• Make technology recommendations for data and analytics tools, and architect innovative and robust solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Exposure to a range of serious back-end programming languages (Python, C#, Java, C++, C) with working knowledge of Golang, and deep knowledge of popular front-end web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experienced in administering and using source control, continuous integration and deployment, containerized applications, and cloud-based infrastructure platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Thorough understanding of traditional relational database concepts, administration, and design (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server or similar).
• Excellent working knowledge of Kafka and data streaming services, and experience in designing and implementing sustainable application and data architecture.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to lead project streams, manage various project elements simultaneously, and convey complex concepts to staff with varying technical competencies.
• Proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
