The Talent Acquisition Executive supports the Talent Acquisition Associate in executing planned talent outreach and engagement activities to source for potential candidates and maintains an optimal onboarding experience for the candidates. He/She conducts the initial screening of candidates, prepares the employment offer and contracts for employees.
Responsibilities
- Attract and source for candidates, pre-screen and present qualified job candidates to the hiring manager
- Select and utilise appropriate assessment tools to be used for selection
- Conduct background searches on job applicants to identify any critical issues
- Execute recruitment plans to ensure that positions are filled in a timely manner (i.e. recruitment drive, campus outreach programs)
- Propose salary offers and coordinate signing of offer letters
- Negotiate terms and conditions of offer to selected candidates within standard operating guidelines
- Respond to routine queries from candidates
- Assist in tracking and ensuring job postings are updated on external sites and assist in job credit renewal process
- Facilitate relevant work visa applications
- Ensure proper document collection to facilitate onboarding
- Develop new hires information packs for new employees
- Develop and deliver content and materials for new hire orientation programmes
- Verify access set up for new hires
- Measure conversion success rate for each sourcing channel
- Maintain database of potential hires
- Execute talent outreach activities according to a plan
- Prepare hiring collaterals to be used in various hiring platforms
- Gather information on talent needs and job descriptions from various business units
- Conduct research on various sourcing approaches and tools
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management or its equivalent with specialization in HRM
- 0 - 2 years related work experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Conversant with Employment Act and fair employment guidelines
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills and personable
- Organized, quick thinking and efficient
- Meticulous with effective follow-up skills
- IT Savvy and literate in MS Office / Google suite office applications
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team-based environment
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking system (ATS) is an advantage
