Automation Testing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated testing, particularly using Katalon Studio. This role will involve developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features and fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Monitor test execution and analyze test results to provide detailed reports on software quality.
• Mentor and train junior QA team members on automation best practices and Katalon Studio.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and Katalon Studio.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in using Katalon Studio for test automation.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or test automation are a plus.
