Remofirst is looking for a resourceful People Partner to take the lead on our people operations, talent acquisition, and people/HR compliance.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Manager, People Operations. This role is integral to our People Team, focusing on leading People/HR Operations programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and global employment laws and requirements, and improving employee experience and processes to support our growth. In this role, you will make an impact by optimizing our people operations and employee experience, maintaining employment law/HR compliance, and managing Talent Acquisition, while partnering with the People Team and cross-functional stakeholders in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of People Operations programs and processes. What you'll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Head of People, you will lead People/HR Operations programs and initiatives, including Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition, People/HR Compliance, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, and HRIS Management.
  • Partner with the People Team and cross-functional stakeholders in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR operational programs and processes.
  • Build relationships with employees and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strong collaboration, support, and alignment in all aspects of the employee experience and people operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with new and existing laws and regulations related to local and global employment and HR compliance & privacy standards.
  • Develop and manage programs and policies related to global mobility and employment compliance and maintain company policies and handbooks.
  • In partnership with direct report(s), support management and employees with general HR issues and requests, handle employee escalations and dismissals and performance management, administer and manage employee benefits and total rewards, and other related People/HR matters.
  • Oversee internal Talent Acquisition and external agencies to manage and oversee recruitment pipelines.
  • Manage full employee onboarding and offboarding as well as working with our external hiring partner(s).
  • Manage the People Team’s tech stack, including HRIS, ATS, CLM, etc. and manage implementations and integrations end to end.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including privacy standards and both ISO and SOC II regulations.
  • Work with external IT partner to manage IT matters as it relates to People Operations.
  • Efficiently and effectively handle other related requests from leadership team.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in People Operations and/or Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and People/HR compliance-related roles with HRIS management.
  • Experience in international People Operations/HR, People/HR Compliance, Global Mobility and/or global companies.
  • Experience in project and program management from conception to execution.
  • Experience working in startup environments and remote working experience is a plus.

You will also need to be adept at working cross-functionally with internal departments, management team, and colleagues across different functions.
  • Time Management in a remote work environment: You will be participating in meetings, supporting candidates through the onboarding process and our employees with internal people processes, all while working across different time zones which can be tricky to manage. You will need to be good at structuring your work day and tasks to make sure you accomplish all those things whilst maintaining a work-life balance.
  • Collaborative: we love to work together with all sorts of different people in all sorts of different places across the world. You’ll also need to be comfortable and effective working cross-functionally within the organization with various different levels of management and teams. Everyone’s opinion and effort matters to get the job done.
  • Independent and autonomous: As much as we’re connected and collaborative, you will also need to take initiative to solve problems and get answers independently; this also means reaching out to us proactively to get help or find a solution.
  • Empathetic: you need excellent people skills to connect and motivate yourself and others around you. You will use your empathic abilities to handle all sorts of conversations with multiple audiences and have deep involvement with our employees, management, and shaping the employee experience.

  • Organizational skills to manage competing priorities, tasks and initiatives that need to be executed both autonomously and in partnership with different people and departments within the organization**.**
