Accounting Clerk

This position will be responsible for posting payments to our financial ERP system on a daily basis. They will follow up directly with clients and our bank partners when issues arise.

Your role will require and challenge you to:

• Downloading our daily payment files from various bank accounts both domestic and international.
• Matching payments to open invoices and applying the payment in our financial software systems.
• Following up with clients when payments cannot be matched to invoices or payments do not match the $ amount of the referenced invoice.
• Collaborating with our other cash applications clerk to ensure cash is posted daily and the payments applied in our financial system balance to the bank records at the end of each month.

Requirements

• 1-3 Years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
• Experience with the Microsoft Suite of products, specifically Outlook and Excel.
• Associates degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business or Finance.
